Keldy Zabriskie

Telos Academy, Carter House

Carter House Director

“His genuine care is apparent every time he speaks about a student, he is always asking students what he can do to help them. The Carter House team would not be the same without him.” – Co – Worker

Keldy brings a powerful combination of advanced training, professional experience, and lived recovery to his work in the treatment of Substance Use Disorders. With a strong foundation in business management and adult rehabilitation, he has developed a structured, disciplined approach to recovery—one that emphasizes accountability, resilience, and long-term success.

What truly distinguishes Keldy is the authenticity he brings to the process. With over a decade of sustained sobriety, he offers not just clinical knowledge, but lived proof that a meaningful, fulfilling life in recovery is not only possible—it is deeply rewarding. This perspective allows him to connect with clients in a way that is both credible and inspiring, helping them see beyond immediate struggles to a future they can genuinely believe in.

Keldy has pursued advanced training in substance use treatment, equipping him with the tools to address the complex patterns of addiction, relapse, and recovery. He is skilled in helping individuals build structure, develop healthy coping strategies, and create sustainable lifestyles that support long-term change. His approach is direct, motivating, and grounded in real-world application.

Outside of his professional work, Keldy lives the principles he teaches. He is passionate about reading and finds renewal in outdoor recreation—often embracing challenges like extreme weather hammocking. A devoted pitbull owner, he shares a strong bond with his two dogs, reflecting his deep value for connection, loyalty, and consistency.

Keldy’s work is driven by a clear mission: to help others discover that life without substances is not just manageable, but meaningful, engaging, and worth pursuing.
