Primary Therapist - South Campus

“Thank you for always being a safe place for my child through these very challenging times.” – Former Parent

Marian is a dedicated Clinical Therapist at the South Campus, deeply committed to helping adolescents and young adults navigate the complexities of growth, healing, and life transition. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Social Work from Utah Valley University, building a strong academic and clinical foundation for her work.

Marian specializes in working with youth and young adults and has extensive experience helping individuals navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Her areas of expertise include trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and autism spectrum differences. She is passionate about helping young people better understand themselves, build resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop the confidence needed to move successfully into adulthood.

Marian has a particular passion for trauma-focused care and is intentional about creating a therapeutic environment defined by safety, compassion, and trust. She believes that meaningful change begins when individuals feel truly seen and understood, and she is skilled at meeting clients where they are—walking alongside them as they develop resilience, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.

In addition, Marian has advanced training in supporting youth with executive functioning challenges and slower processing speeds. She works closely with students who struggle with organization, planning, emotional regulation, attention, cognitive flexibility, and information processing. Through individualized support and practical skill development, she helps students build greater independence, self-confidence, and success across academic, social, and personal domains. Her experience working with neurodiverse youth allows her to tailor treatment to each individual’s strengths, learning style, and developmental needs.

Her approach is both grounded and empowering, helping clients not only process past experiences but also build the internal resources needed to move forward with clarity and purpose. Whether helping a young person navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use concerns, autism spectrum-related challenges, or executive functioning difficulties, Marian focuses on creating lasting growth through connection, understanding, and skill development.

Outside of her clinical work, Marian enjoys camping, hiking, solving puzzles, and crafting—activities that reflect her thoughtful, curious nature. She also values time spent with loved ones, including her cat, and brings that same sense of warmth and connection into the relationships she builds with her clients.
