“Reggie is calming, encouraging, and motivating! He is committed to his work and genuinely cares about our students.” – Coworker

Reggie Wilson, LCSW, has dedicated his career to supporting adolescents, young adults, and families through complex mental health and behavioral health challenges. He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work, a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, and a certificate in Criminology from the University of Utah.

Reggie has worked across a wide range of clinical settings, including residential treatment, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, group homes, and private practice. He has served in clinical leadership roles and has been recognized for his commitment to excellence in mental health care. His broad clinical experience allows him to approach each student and family with both depth of understanding and practical insight.

Reggie specializes in working with youth and young adults and has particular expertise in helping individuals navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, autism spectrum differences, adoption-related challenges, and complex family dynamics. His work with transracial adoption has given him a unique understanding of identity development, belonging, attachment, and the relational factors that influence long-term emotional health. He is passionate about helping young people build resilience, strengthen their sense of self, and develop the tools necessary to create successful and meaningful lives.

In addition, Reggie has advanced training in supporting individuals with executive functioning challenges and slower processing speeds. He works closely with youth who struggle with organization, planning, emotional regulation, attention, cognitive flexibility, and information processing. His experience with neurodiverse youth allows him to tailor interventions to each individual’s unique strengths and needs while helping them build confidence, independence, and greater effectiveness in everyday life.

Reggie is guided by a belief in challenging negative core beliefs and helping young people develop healthier ways of understanding themselves and the world around them. He also believes deeply in the essential role families play in the healing process and works collaboratively with parents and caregivers to create lasting and meaningful change. His approach balances accountability, compassion, and practical skill development, helping students move beyond current struggles toward greater hope and possibility.

Whether helping a young person navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, autism spectrum-related challenges, executive functioning difficulties, adoption-related issues, or family relationship struggles, Reggie remains focused on empowering youth to discover their strengths and move toward brighter futures.

Outside of work, Reggie enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and exploring Utah’s outdoors—activities that reflect the balance, resilience, and well-being he encourages in others.
