Telos employs the top behavioral health billing experts in the nation. Our team will work with your insurance company to advocate for your needs. In most cases (after your copay and deductible) insurance will cover most or all of your cost.
STEP 1: Verification of Benefits
Once we receive your insurance information, we will contact your insurance company to learn about the mental health benefits your plan covers.
STEP 2: Utilization Review
Once your plan benefits are verified, our team of experts will collect information about your current symptoms and treatment history. This information is compiled and presented to the case reviewers at your insurance company. At this point, your insurer approves “covered days” for your treatment. We currently average 145 days of coverage for clients.
Step 3: Claims
We will submit the claim to your insurance company, following up until it is paid. We are out-of-network with most carriers, which allows us to negotiate single case agreements with your carrier. Telos is contracted with Multi-Plan, a third-party pricing service most major insurers work well with.
